Reading this one in French has definitely been a challenge, so I would suggest you to read it in a language you feel at ease with.

I felt a bit conflicted with my general opinion about the book: It has helped me in moments I have been feeling completely and absolutely down. I was literally laughing out loud and shedding tears while going from chapter to chapter. It was weird at times, surprising, unexpected, touching, enveloping and thought provoking. But next to that, it also had parts which were overly political for my personal taste.

All in all, there were quite a few gems in it, as a total, it only measured up to 3 out of 5 stars.
I would definitely recommend exactly this edition though, the illustrations contribute to the style of the writing and carry you away into a fairy-tale-like Alice in Wonderland setting.
